<== Hugo and Charles Louis Spincemaille (1840-1895)
The history of the family goods of the desendants of Bavo Spincemaille (1841-1973)
The first transaction of 1897 is yet easy to understand. We see that the children of Charles Louis bought a piece of land in common, signed by their tutor Hugo Pincemaille. The second transaction in Decembre 1908 happened after one of their sisters Josma became on the 7th Octobre 1908 a novice in a cloister in Roeselare. The usage at that time was that after her death her inheritance came in hands of the cloister. To prevent that situation the family divided the goods between the other children, conceding only the useîuct (Nl: vruchtgebruik) to the nun. For the transaction in 1909 was the underlying reason the situation of their brother Jules in exile in Holland. When he feared a codemnation as activist and loosing his goods to the Belgian state, the goods in common were divided between his brother René and his sister Marie so that apparently he had nothing. At the end of all this and following transactions we see in the fnext schema that one part came in hands of the Bishopric of Bruges and all the rest stayed in hands of the family. We write 1973 when the nun Gabriella died and the useîuct of her goods ended. Then only this goods were sold. |
